Dahlia Ordering Guidelines:

We are grateful to be able to offer you the option of purchasing individual dahlia tubers and pot tubers for the 2025 growing season. For detailed information on pricing and current stock levels, please refer to our website. It should be noted that listed prices apply to single tubers or pot tubers unless stated otherwise.

Limits on Tubers Policy: Due to popular demand and to allow others equal opportunity, we have put limits on some of our most popular dahlias. This allows for many individual growers to have the same opportunity without emptying our stock with just a few clicks. Please abide by the rules of limits per household per year. If we see you have placed multiple orders or exceeded limits we will automatically remove them from your order. We want to make our dahlias available to many dahlia enthusiasts throughout the Continental U.S. Many thanks!

Cancellation Guidelines: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds. If variety after bloom is not correct, you will be offered a replacement tuber the following season. For extenuating circumstances, we have a big heart. Please reach out at baileysblooms1@gmail.com. We do charge a 20% restocking fee per order when allowed.

Shipping Charges and Responsibilities: All shipping expenses must be covered by the buyer and paid in full before the shipment is dispatched. Bailey's Blooms will not be held accountable for any issues related to shipment, including loss, damage, delay, or items being frozen. It is the buyer’s responsibility to settle these matters with the shipping provider. Tracking details will be furnished to those who provide an email address. We urge extra caution regarding delivery dates, particularly in colder regions. Please purchase a uni-heat pack at check out to prevent your tubers from freezing if your temperatures are 55 degrees or below in your region. Tubers will start shipping March 31, 2025.

Local Pickup: Local pick-up is available in Lehi, Utah on April 12th 2PM-4PM and April 26th 2PM-4PM only. Please make arrangements for someone to pick up your tubers if you are unable to come during these hours. Tubers will be forfeited and returned to stock after these dates.

Guarantee of Quality: We guarantee the delivery of tubers in a state that is both healthy and with a viable eye,  matching the product description accurately.

Upon Receipt of Tubers: Immediate inspection of tubers upon their arrival is strongly recommended. Any discrepancies or concerns should be communicated to us within a 48-hour window. Beyond this period, we regret we will not accept liability for any damage or decay. It is crucial to unpack your shipment promptly to preserve the tubers’ quality, due to their natural moisture content.

Product Unavailability: In the rare event that a product is rendered unavailable after purchase due to unforeseen circumstances, including storage mishaps or external theft, customers will be eligible for a full refund.

Packaging and Storage Information:  Our tubers are all primarily stored in vermiculite with a small amount of sulfur for preservation. Each tuber clump is divided and kept in storage in it's own personal bag, not being mixed with any other tubers from other plants. The presence of any "dirt/material" on the tubers is entirely expected and part of our standard packaging procedure. Pot tubers will be shipped whole.

Tuber Size Variability: The initial size of tubers may vary, particularly because some are derived from cuttings and 6" pots. Despite any size differences at the outset, we assure customers of their potential to mature into vibrant, large plants. Tuber size does not matter. A small tuber will still produce a large full grown plant.

Pot Tubers: 90% of our stock this year will be sold as "pot tubers". Our pot tubers are grown in 6" pots. They grew to full size plants. The amount of tubers in each clump will vary depending on variety. Most have 3-8 tubers. Each clump will have multiple eyes which means multiple stalks with many more flowers. Perfect for replanting as is or you may break down the clump into individual tubers.

Photos: I go to great lengths to take pictures of each and every photo of my dahlias. I took over 7,000 photos last year of all my dahlias in the field and in arrangements. I take photos so our customers can see what our dahlias look like, and for you to know I verify each and every bloom. Please do not use my photos without written permission. Thank you! There are a few photos on my website used with permission from other growers. This is not because my blooms were not verified, but because we missed getting a picture of them.

Shipping Policy: Our shipping schedule for tubers is set for the beginning April to May each year. If you choose to inquire about an earlier ship date, you may do so, but will accept full liability of shipment of tubers in a cold environment.

We only ship to the Continental US states. We do not offer phytosanitary certificates to cross US border lines.

All shipments are a flat fee of $18.00 regardless of how many tubers or pot tubers you order. All orders are sent USPS flat rate priority with tracking. It takes a lot of time and energy to pull orders, package and ship. We do not offer combined shipping at this time. We do however offer free shipping on orders placed for $250 or more with the code FREESHIP2025 entered at checkout.

Discrepancies with Plant Orders: We deeply regret any instances where the plant delivered does not match your order. We are committed to resolving such matters to your satisfaction. Should this occur, please contact us promptly so we can explore solutions, such as arranging for a replacement in the subsequent year. We kindly ask for a photograph of the plant or bloom and your invoice number for our records. We prefer to address and resolve any concerns directly and request that customers refrain from posting negative feedback on social media or review platforms before we have had an opportunity to rectify the situation.

For concerns regarding tuber condition upon arrival, please reach out to us for immediate assistance by emailing us at baileysblooms1@gmail.com. Please allow several business days to get back to you. We do not answer emails on weekends.

Viral Infection Protocol: Our rigorous inspection process is designed to identify and isolate any plants showing signs of viral infections. Given the high costs and inherent limitations of viral testing, which does not encompass all viruses and may result in false positives, we do not test our plants. We do however cull any plant that is suspicious and use stringent practices of sanitation between each plant. It is important to understand that no plant stock can be assured as completely virus-free, and new infections can occur post-testing due to factors such as insect activity.

If you suspect an infection in your plant that you believe originated from our stock, especially in environments free from pests, we encourage open dialogue to jointly review the situation and determine a forward path.

Concerning leafy or crown gall infections, it is pertinent to recognize that these bacterial infections are not exclusive to dahlias and can be introduced from external environments. Should you discover such an infection in your plant or tuber, we urge you to inform us. Please take pictures for documentation also.

Feedback and Social Media Conduct: We value constructive feedback and believe in resolving issues through direct communication. We discourage the airing of grievances on social media platforms without first allowing us the chance to address and resolve the matter. In instances where public postings preempt direct resolution efforts, we reserve the right to limit access to our offerings and may consider including the individual on a national advisory do not sell list intended for other vendors.

Our goal is to maintain a transparent, respectful, and positive relationship with all our clients, ensuring that any concerns are met with prompt and professional attention.

Most of all, we want you to enjoy these beautiful creations. May you have bounty in your flower gardens this season, and JOY!
